UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

The Cowtown Yeast Wranglers Homebrewers Association Annual General Meeting was held on November 15, 2023. A huge thanks to Village Brewery for hosting us and thanks to all the members that came out to participate — we met our quorum and then some! In the end we had to add chairs just to get everyone seated.

Here is a summary of the New Business items from the agenda.

  1. Setting 2024 Membership Fees

    • Membership fees for the 2023/2024 season are set at $30 for Individual memberships and $50 for Family (in the same household) memberships effective December 1st 2023

  2. Use of Committees

    • Committees have been put on hold by the executive and more director positions sought in lieu for 2024

  3. Director Elections

    • There were no new nominations from the floor or contested positions. The proposed slate of executive and director positions were elected unanimiously.

      • President - Eduard Fech

      • Vice-President - Fallon Coburn

      • Treasurer - Steve Fawkes

      • Secretary - Kevin Hanson

      • Director of Operations - Doug Charlish

      • Director of Logistics - David Ward

      • Director of Communications - Greg Loudon

Together, these directors are primed to lead the Cowtown Yeast Wranglers on a path of continued success.
